Description

If you or a client would like to replace the Qlik Sense logos to have a custom branding, you can do so by following the examples below.

Disclaimer

  • These changes are not supported by Qlik.
  • Most of these changes will need to be reapplied after upgrades, which overwrite/replace standard files.
  • Make a back up of whatever you change!

Hub

To switch the top left logo on the hub, you have two options. First is to overwrite the default image, with your preferred one. Second is to modify the Hub javascript to point to a new file.

Overwrite:

Folder: C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Client\hub\img\core\logo\

File: Qlik_Sense_Enterprise_Horizontal-RGB.svg

*Note: This needs to be a SVG. I used this website to convert my .png to .svg file.

Redirect:

Folder: C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Client\hub

File: hub.js

Replace: ../resources/hub/img/core/logo/Qlik_Sense_Enterprise_Horizontal-RGB.svg

!!! I’ve noticed this image name changes on different versions !!!

Steps:

  1. Modify file
  2. Exit Hub
  3. Restart Qlik Services
  4. Clear all Browser Cache
  5. Open Hub

Example:

Original:

org

New:

Login Page

You cannot update the Qlik Login/Logout/Error pages in a similar way. If you want to customize this, you can build your own custom one using the Proxy API or leverage this awesome utility on Branch | GitHub built by Robert (RPK,kreta99).

It is important to note that any content of your webpage needs to reside in the HTML document. You cannot refer to external files. This means you need to encode your images to base64. Here is the website I used.
